A traditional but avant-gardist theme – philosophical, emotional and ecological. We are looking for harmony with ourselves and
the world. We recuperate and repair objects ourselves. Romance and poetry are becoming more important in our lives. We feel
connected to nature: it is a frame of mind and a vision of life. In short: romance and nostalgia with a contemporary look.
Key words: emotional, natural materials, naturally delicate, arts & crafts, cradle to cradle. Patine is important, the story behind everything needs to be visible. Everything is given a ‘used’ look.
Colours: off whites, greens, dirty orange, greys (zinc, anthracite, concrete), ‘ton sur ton’, sand and earth tones. Bright green, summer sky shades and sensitive skin tones.
Materials: light wood, felt, soft textile & linen, moss, soft and white paper, clay, fibres, natural undressed leather, ceramics, knitting and crocheting, reused materials (of which the origin is recognisable). Materials coming directly from nature.
Patterns: sensual shapes, vegetable patterns and prints, nostalgia from the old days, natural prints, weaving patterns. Romantic flowers and spring blossoms for the summer (like on old wallpaper).
